Welcome to the Enfield and North London School of Japanese Karate (Shotokan International) Karate/Self Defence Coaches for Enfield Council.  We are one of the oldest established and most respected karate/self defence schools in the country and pride ourselves on being the only karate organisation to offer all of the following:

*Permanent resident 6th dan instructor. (Shihan David Alleyn).

*Wide choice of karate/self defence venues in north london - teaching Shotokan Karate and SeIf Defence seven days a week. Karate/Self Defence in Enfield, Southgate, Cockfosters, Brookmans Park, Arnos Grove, Edmonton. North London.

*  More than ten qualified male and female karate/self defence black belt Shotokan Karate instructors - including   national champions.

*  Karate/Self Defence Beginners Course - 4 weeks for the price of 3.  Only £15 for Karate Kids (Young Dragons) and only £18 adults (one lesson is free)  held in  Enfield and other venues in North London.

*  Separate karate/self defence beginners classes for people with no previous experiance and advanced classes.

*And classes for anyone wishing to get back training after a long lay off.

*Advanced and Intermediate classes for one and a half hours. 

*Introduction to Nunchaku - Karate Weapon of Self Defence and history of karate weapons for advanced students.(kobudo)

*No advanced payments - just "pay as you go".

*Regular grading for coloured belts in karate and adult and junior black belts in  Enfield /North London.

* Karate/Self Defence Courses at the club, with high grade British and Japanese Karate instructors. Held in Enfield

* Karate Championships (not compulsory) in Enfield.

*  Traditional Shotokan karate as well as modern day self defence using up-to-date techniques.

*  Controlled yoga type exercises to help the body become more flexible and stronger internally and externally.

* Karate Classes for tiny tots by special arrangement in Southgate and Brookmans Park.
